Did not make me happy - the dropping of the discount for 3rd vehicle is a backward step and will make me research alternative providers when I move get a third vehicle.

Not impressed that I was not able to add another car to an existing policy despite being a customer for many years, and had to take out an additional policy at additional cost.

The person who dealt with my application was efficient but lacked warmth. Changes have happened since a year ago eg No written certificate for breakdown purposes, you have to copy it off the net. A cost cutting exercise which needed to be explained with understanding not said in a cold, clinical manner. Stayed with AN on this occasion but would think seriously the next time of moving to somebody else.

I was a bit disappointed that the reminder for renewal was late but suspect this was because my email address had changed. The lady I talked to on the phone to renew was extremely helpful and clear with her delivery

great product but call adviser wasn't on top of her game-seemed muddled, ?listening skills. also policy document spelt my title wrong-not a big issue but looks unprofessional

I disliked being on hold for so long, to renew documents you should have a separate line. Apart from hearing problems and then having to print my own documents for the car all went reasonably well

A telephone call to Auto National enabled me to change over my breakdown cover to a car purchased on 27th February 2017. I am waiting for the revised documents to be sent to me.

I tried unsuccessfully three times to apply for breakdown cover online. I spoke to an administrator twice about the problem I was having which was due to the interface between Autonational Rescue and their credit card payment service provider not working correctly. The administrator I spoke to offered to put my application through but pointed out that I would not get the extra three months cover, only available for an online transaction. I tried again online without success so called the administrator again but my call was unanswered. I called a different number, the general queries number and spoke with Stevie who spoke to her Manager and put the transaction through for me with the extra three months cover. The confirming e-mail was sent within minutes amended manually by Stevie to show the correct renewal date. All together this application had taken me an hour to process. During my online attempts the system asked me to put in a start date which if I left blank would be midnight following my application. This suited me so I left It blank. As I moved on to the next page a warning came up saying I would have to go back and put in a date! After all this I hope that should I ever need to use the Rescue service it will be more efficient.

To the Customer Services Manager, I wish to make a formal complaint with regards to your online web services plus the 0330 Telephone contact performance. May I summarise as follows:- 1. Tried to renew a policy on line on Saturday 25th Feb. , having put in the initial data which took me through to the “Payment” page, only to find that the system failed to connect . After retying the connection experienced the same problem where the system was looking for a connection. Tried the 0330 number to progress but found I was in a connection loop for 20 minutes. I then gave up. 2. Tried again to connect on line on Sunday the 26th Feb. Experienced the same problem of failing to connect online at the “Payment” stage as with the previous day. 3. Tried again on Monday 27th. Feb to connect online, experienced the same issues as previous. Use the 0330 telephone number & finally made a connection after 5 minutes. Reflecting on the above & recognising that my internet connection is in the region of 36mbps & coming from a Telecoms background , I find you IT performance & Customers facing systems absolutely appalling.
