Jorden arranged my updated policy, but sent the incorrect policy details. A further call promised the corrected details. Which so far haven't arrived by email. ACTION PLEASE!

Your representative was coldly schoolmarmish at the start and frozenly negative in her manner by the end. She lost the premium and put me on hold to find it and then made a mistake in taking down payment details. She will not win any new customers and came close to causing me to cancel my policy. Interpersonal skills has she NONE.

Kavelle was polite enough....but Autonational have a problem with their website and phone. The difference between the prices both on the website and phone is so large! Several phone calls and online emails and no one seems to have a clue!

You got my email address wrong when I emailed you the changed address a while ago, which meant that the reminders you sent failed to arrive. You included 'mailto' in it when it obviously wasn't part of the email address. You have also changed my postal address erroneously - I gave it as '144' when I was asked for the first line of my address, so it must have been correct at that stage. Now you have addressed the (emailed) letters to '126'. Please correct that.

Operator was unable to find my details when I first called. I called a second time as I was unable to review online as the car on the policy was an old car even though my husband had updated it several months ago.

I feel I need to be really honest. With regard to the contents I have no complaint. However, the gentleman I spoke to sounded so fed up, miserable and had a little too much of a dominant approach. I was aware of this through out the conversation. I thanked him very much to see if that could change his response. Unfortunately, not.. feel he should be made aware of how he presents on the phone as it's not good. He may of course, just be having a bad day...

I attempted to renew my Breakdown Policy on-line, which according to your policy is quote"quick and easy anytime of day" well in fact it was'nt. I did not want to pay for a phone call to renew, and as I have a computer (and per your instructions) I assumed this would be easy and take no time at all. However, your website failed when trying to do this, and I ended up having to phone you to renew. Not best pleased to say the least.

Duma was very helpful and friendly and deserves 5 stars. the reason I only gave 2 stars was because your website doesn't work properly. Each time I tried to pay it kept coming up with. Server error in application. Year month and day parameters describe an in- representable date time. This needs to be sorted. The dates were what the computer put in. So I am not happy as something that should have been free ended up costing me a phone call.

i did not know that my policy had expired. You have always sent me a reminder. Now i have to do everything on line. The position i am in now is that i have a new policy for which i do not know the number. So i need from you a reminder of my new policy details. If i request a hard copy you have the nerve to want to charge £5.00 just for a letter. Just how much profit do you want. The changes that have been made to your company are falling a little bit short of what they were last year.

Felt pressured into renewing my policy ! It did not expire until today? I expected it to expire at midnight tonight You would not recovery my vehicle unless I renewed on the spot!

In reference to their contact/enquiry telephone numbers *only*: On this occasion, I have rated Auto National as "poor" because they take far too long to answer the telephone. First call attempt was on a Saturday - early afternoon. It is stated on their webpage that their lines are open on a Saturday until 5pm. All the enquiry line numbers as given on their website page and on their policy documents, continued to ring on 'n' on, with the usual automated message that the call would be answered shortly. Taking into account that the automated call message is a "connected" call, it was therefore ticking away on my mobile 'phone contract/minutes. I gave up after 12 minutes waiting time. The second call attempt was made on a week day - mid morning. Yet again, the line just rang on 'n' on and with the same repetitive automated message. The waiting time was slightly shorter on this occasion. 9 minutes 46 seconds! I was contacting Auto National to amend my vehicle information, which they had entered incorrectly on my policy documents. If they had recorded this information correctly in the first place, I would not have had to endure the inconvenience of having to contact them to correct THEIR errors ... and then perhaps, this review may have otherwise earned them 5 stars instead of 2!
